The BC Assembly of First Nations is hosting a virtual strategy feedback session in collaboration with Global Affairs Canada. This session will bring together First Nations leaders and stakeholders to provide critical feedback on Canada’s Indo-Pacific Strategy. Discussions will focus on aligning First Nations priorities with key strategy pillars, including trade, investment, and people-to-people connections, while ensuring alignment with the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (UNDA). This targeted session is a unique opportunity to elevate First Nations perspectives in shaping Canada’s economic and diplomatic relationships in the Indo-Pacific region.
