Additionally, discussions will revolve around the implementation of the First Nations of BC Regional Action Plan for Disaster Risk Reduction, emphasizing proactive measures to enhance disaster resilience.
The session seeks to keep First Nations leadership informed with updates on emergency management legislation, policy developments at the Provincial and Federal levels, and updates on the ongoing negotiation process for the multi-lateral emergency services agreement.
