Meeting Purpose: To discuss the ongoing issues at the AFN Chiefs Committee on Languages (CCOL) which has been designated to develop a consensus-based Regional Allocation Formula for the Department of Heritage’s Indigenous Languages Component proposal-based funding.

This meeting will explore various formula options for Chiefs’ consideration and endorsement to support anticipated CCOL negotiations to reach consensus at the AFN Annual General Assembly in Montreal, QC.
