The First Nations Leadership Council (FNLC) is hosting a two-day Emergency Management Forum focused on updates related to the Multilateral Emergency Management Services Agreement and the ongoing service delivery review. This forum will provide First Nations leadership and technical staff with detailed updates on Phase 2 work, including current bilateral extensions, costing considerations, transition planning, and implementation timelines. Federal and provincial partners will provide updates related to emergency management service delivery and coordination.

The forum is intended as a working session to ensure First Nations are informed about negotiation progress, service impacts, and upcoming decisions. There will be opportunities for questions, dialogue, to support collective discussion and direction-setting.

BCAFN currently has a room block at the River Rock Casino Resort, located on the unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) First Nation in Richmond, BC.
