REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED! The upcoming Chilliwack and Campbell River engagement sessions (June 27th and July 3rd, 2024) are now at capacity.
Thanks for your interest in joining the First Nations Climate Leadership Agenda Regional In-Person Engagement Sessions. During these sessions, we will seek input on priority actions, policy directions, and concrete recommendations to the federal government for implementing and advancing the FNCL Agenda in BC. The sessions aim to build on previous engagements and themes around First Nations climate action, where there will be an opportunity to workshop proposed recommendations. There will also be space for participants to discuss their specific priorities, knowledge and experiences with climate change and action.
Travel funding is limited, so we recommend registering as soon as possible. Travel and hotel funding will be allocated according to the BCAFN Travel Policy. Participants will be responsible for booking and coordinating your travel. Once you register, the BCAFN team will provide more details on the session, hotel blocks and the BCAFN travel policy. Travel expense claims will be available within 24 hours after the completion of each engagement session.
All sessions will run from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM with registration and breakfast available at 8:00 AM.
